Below is a list of handsfree and mix-minus limitations for D-Cerno:
Handsfree + Mix-Minus enabled, with one general “Floor” channel:
- Max. number of seats (including chairpersons and VIPs): 16
- Only seats 1-16 generate audio
- Static mix-minus
- The hardware limitation is the number of downlink channels
Handsfree + Mix-Minus enabled, with Floor + Floor HP:
- Max. number of seats (including chairpersons and VIPs): 15
- Only seats 1-15 generate audio
- Static mix-minus
Other discussion mode (“Direct speak”, “Request”) + Mix-Minus enabled:
The number of mix-minus channels must be the same as the maximum number of open microphones + number of chairpersons and VIPs:
- Max. number of seats with 1 general Floor: 16
- Max. number of seats with 1 Floor + 1 Floor HP: 15
- Max. number of seats (including chairpersons and VIPs): 250
- Dynamic mix-minus
Does Seat HP have any effect on Mix-Minus (number of reserved channels)?
Yes, Seat HP takes out the 16 downstream channel budget.

⚠️ The D-Cerno DECIDE devices are compatible exclusively with the D-Cerno AE central unit running version 1.6.1 or higher.
If the D-Cerno AE is running a 1.5.2 version or below, follow the procedure below to avoid the risk of a critical error.
- Disconnect the D-Cerno DECIDE units from the network.
- Power cycle the D-Cerno AE central unit.
- Upgrade the central unit to version 1.5.3 or above. Please note that version 1.5.3 allows the full system to be updated, but does not recognize the D-Cerno DECIDE devices. If you want to the D-Cerno DECIDE to be recognized, directly upload to version 1.6.1 or higher.
- Reconnect the D-Cerno DECIDE units.
- Upgrade the full system.
